The Results
- Meta Platform Success: Meta led in driving purchase volume, achieving 122 total purchases with an Average Order Value (AOV) of $129.35 and a Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) of 2.73. The Cost Per Mille (CPM) was $19.96, with a Click-Through Rate (CTR) of 2.23% and a Cost Per Click (CPC) of $0.90.
- Instagram's Higher Value: Despite a lower purchase volume, Instagram excelled with a significantly higher AOV of $196.31 and a stronger ROAS of 3.71. The platform's CPM was $23.59, with a CTR of 3.51% and a CPC of $0.67, resulting in 59 total purchases.
- Performance Delta: Instagram outperformed Meta in key metrics, with a 57% higher CTR, 36% higher ROAS, and 52% higher AOV. However, Meta had a lower CPM by 18% and drove 52% more purchases.

How We Baked It to Perfection with CAKE Strategies
CAKE was brought on board to help Ahdorned transition into the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) space and build brand awareness on Meta and Instagram. The challenge was akin to whipping up a new recipe from scratch: we had no engaging content and no historical data while entering a highly competitive market.
To tackle this, we split our advertising efforts between Instagram and Meta. Knowing that Meta's advertising system would take up most of the budget, we could better analyze how each platform performed.
